Journal history

Kocaeli Medical Journal serves as the official publication of Kocaeli Derince Training and Research Hospital which was embarked on its journey in the year 2012. In 2014, our journal included in the Turkish Citation Index. As a scientific, peer-reviewed, open-access journal, we publish three issues annually, ensuring our readers have consistent access to the most recent research discoveries, clinical updates, and scholarly articles. Starting from the conclusion of 2023, we have transitioned to exclusively accepting publications in the English language.
